* Headline contains a verb and synopsis of what the story is about

* Blurb does not rely on headline to inform reader; blurb is self-contained and explains what’s going on in this field. Blurb could have said where the Macoma Corporation is located but that’s a very minor flaw. Answers Who, What, When, Where, Why (and maybe How).

* Blurb is well-written — no grammar or spelling errors. (Good idea might be to write in a Word file with spellcheck and copy/paste into quiz field.)

* Source includes entire link.

* Hint: As the GTF who grades the quizzes every week, here’s what I do: I hold up my hand and put down a finger for every W answered. For the third item, I look to see if there’s a headline and a blurb (a source is a plus). A typo or misspelling in the headline costs you the headline point.
