This is the first term we’ve created e-portfolios for Advanced PR Writing. I think with a few revisions, this will be a great way for students to present their final work.
But overall, the students did a great job. These are the best of the bunch:

Wow. These are really awesome class projects.
It’s amazing to me how much content in PR classes at UO has changed since I graduated (at least in your classes!). And you can definitely see the evolution of how you are teaching PR to students through this blog.
It makes me think what the heck we’ll be teaching PR students a few years down the road.
This reminds me of Steve Rubel’s post from yesterday on current Internet related jobs that will soon be out of date (see: http://tinyurl.com/2t4f9k). Interacting w/ online media and integrating social media, etc. into our jobs has quickly become a requirement–not just some pretty icing on the cake. And it’s definitely interesting to watch how this is playing out in classes @ UO and at the university-level in general.
Thanks, Amy. I’m pretty proud of them. I think they did great.
And I agree completely. Who knows how things will change in the next few years. It’ll be exciting to see.
I think this is a great idea. I created my own online portfolio website last semester. I recently was told that it was impressive and offered a summer job with a media group.
